Decorating your Living Room 

As our lives become busier, and we spend the majority of our days outside of our homes, it is important to create a space for yourself and your family, which reflect your personalities and taste at home. The living room is a common space, for your family and friends, to join, either for relaxing or for a little bit of quality time.

When it comes to decorating your living room, it should reflect a common pallet of colors and ideas, which suits the family.

Step 1: Find the Colors

The easiest way to find the colors, is to look at everything else you have around in the room. Your couch/sofa is the main source of inspiration. If you have a neautral sofa such as black and white, you can look at the pillows, or the table as a source of color inspiration. 

Step 2: How to Combine the Prints

The couch and sofa is one of the most central furniture of the home, and is created to bring the family closely together. It should come as no surprise, that this is the area, which is most visible, when you enter the room.

When you are shopping for wall decorations, you should therefore consider the space above and behind the couch as the first place to choose for.

Step 3: Selecting Frames

When it comes to selecting frames, the color and material should relate to the rest of the room. If you for example have a oak table, the frames should be of the same material. When you look at your coffetable legs, and they are made in black, silver or gold materials, the frames should be the same. 
If you want to play it safe, you can of course choose a black or white frames, as they suit all colors and rooms.
